I recently came out as genderfluid to my older sister. She was supportive like always. She's an ally of LGBTQ+.
I have masculine days where I go by Silas. I have feminine days where I go by Chrissy which is just a nickname of my birth name. I haven't come out to my parents. Because I feel like they wouldn't understand and it's none of their business. So I'm a genderfluid lesbian. Still unsure about if I'm asexual or not. I want to try you know what. Before saying if I'm asexual or not. Since I was a teen I thought I was a you know what repulsed asexual. But now I'm not so sure. Ever since discovering I was a lesbian. I know I could be a you know what positive asexual. Who is willing to do it sometimes. But I won't know till I try it, in my opinion. I just know my drive is very low to nonexistent. I have a friend that is unsure of their gender identity. They say that depression makes them just want to isolate not connect with other people.
They are experimenting with other things to identify with. They write and are into music so they identify more with those than sexuality. But they are a good friend and I accept them the way they see themselves even if I am not sure what is best for them. __________________ Super Moderator Community Support Team "Things Take Time" |

@Creepeh -
In the last few years, I have accepted my gender which my close nit friends would say I am Gender Queen / Gender Fluid. There is a difference if you have not crossed that in your understating of your self. I lean to the masculine side then I do the female. It as given me the oppurntiy to change my birth name serval times and feel fortunate to be able to. I am not well reversed about Asexuals however would like to get a better understanding though someone that Identifies . I have noticed many post around Asexuals experiences in life and their feelings. When I read your post I was drawn to respond. In the LGBTQIA.... community, we have developed so many ways to express are gender. May your gender questioning become easier with time. I am trilled that your sister is an ally for you and the community. __________________ Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. - Marilyn Monroe “Only I can change my life.
