Learning about my son's crossdressing more.I see him more happy and have spent time with him as Mandy.Has more support, his friends and my family.Knows I love him no matter what and accept Mandy as a part time daughter in my life.Plus I found a great local support group for parents of LGBT kids.Mandy has gone with me to a couple meetings..I knew he was not like like any masculine boy watching him grow up.He had a soft feminine side that wanted out and has.School, his friends only know including staff. We informed school of this and have worked with us very well.Started getting involved with the students whom are LGBT as well that accept him in as Mandy. My boyfriend,he has been great about it,Told Mandy that he has family members that are LGBT that he supports.

Thanks for keeping us up to date! Your son is extremely fortunate to have you for a mom. I know there are many LGBTQ+ kids who could only imagine what that kind of acceptance would be like. Having an accepting school as well as a circle of accepting LGBTQ+ fellow students must be a great help too.
