Hi all,
I've been out as asexual since I was 19 years old, I was just curious if there are any other asexuals on here. I know it can be really isolating.

I think I'm asexual. Or I'm a derivative thereof. Mine has a lot to do with both choice and my mental disabilities that affect my libido. But my choice and preference is to have a mate without the actual sex. I know that my past sexual abuse has a lot to do with my choice, but there are many controversial arguments about who fits within the "asexual" group and who doesn't, so I felt like I never really fit in anywhere then. Loneliness is an understatement for me. But I'm glad you created this thread. I think there are others here that identify as asexual, too.

I'm unsure if I'm asexual or not.
I recently realized that I'm a lesbian. I don't have sexual experience. So I won't know if I like it or not till I try. I'm 23. I do know I always was terrified of having sex with men though and didn't want to. But that may be due to me being a lesbian. If anything I might be grey asexual. I think I'm grey asexual, but it's hard to tell. I wish they taught this more in schools. I have no idea what I am. I'm 47 though.
I'm glad there is more support for the asexual group (the + in LGBTQ+). I feel like we are invisible sometimes. |

I think I might be. I have sexual desire but I don't think I would want to act on it, due to multiple sexual assaults

I am - happy to discuss my feelings. But yes, sexual intercourse does not excite me nor do I feel aroused much, if at all anymore

I'm asexual due to menopause and age. I think it's normal but I'm not certain of that.

It finally clicked that I was ace a few years ago and it was so liberating. I identify as a biromantic asexual. I actually met my wife on an ace dating site called
ace-book!
