Something a bit tongue and cheek to liven up the men's forum, we do not have to be serious all the time... LOL

a few:

Madonna
Angelina Jolie
Hallie Berry
Gweneth Paltrow
Uma Thurman

and so on...

But it is certainly a rude thing to discuss, especially in the presence of ladies around.

I can understand your feelings Zilch but this is the men's forum. Though personally, the term in the title does not sit well with me,,Tim's question does capture the fantasies that maketing geniuses take full advantage of...

And Tim....I have spent some time in my mind with Hallie....

Hi nowheretorun

My reflection upon the marketing arena NWTR was real. I did not invent it. It simply happens. Both sexs are objectified for sales and marketing items from underware to Floor cleaners..IE the swifter adds. I am sorry for this reality but it began when sex became profitable and that began with the concept of property.

I admire your defense of this issue but I would imagine that many women would find that defense somewhat marginalizing to them. This is the mens forum and while we are always interested in the thoughts and ideas of women our guildelines preclude their opinions here...The men respect the privacy of opinions in the womens forum.

And if you are ever curious enough,,,I admit to my curiosity from time to time,,,there are some equally interesting subjects brought up from time to time in the womens forum...

Lastly I find it personally difficult to continually constrict the boundaires of expression as measured by the tolerance of any specific individual. There are certainly boundaries and our filtering system does manage some of them but some discretion is not only allowed but expected,,I would assume.

Lenny

Since the women's opinion has been invited, I just have to add my cents worth.

Personally, I see no offense in the title of the thread, but then, I am pretty open minded sexually, and do not offend easily.
IMO, the title in itself is "just" an abbreviation of a desire. Would it be more appropriate if it was spelled out to the word? I honestly see no harm in it.
In fact, (and especially being a 51 year old mom), I'd find it flattering to discover that I am sexually desired.

With this being the men's forum, I feel that they should be able to discuss many subjects amongst themselves, including their desires, (within regulations), without having to feel restricted in doing so, and that includes mod's who are male, (they, too, have desires), and just because of their title it shouldn't restrict them in expressing themselves.

(Sometimes, we all need to stick that tongue in cheek to reduce a bit of stress).
Just MY personal opinion, (which is oftentimes different from many other women's).

Hi nowheretorun

hi Lenny

My reflection upon the marketing arena NWTR was real. I did not invent it.

agreed

It simply happens. Both sexs are objectified for sales and marketing items from underware to Floor cleaners..IE the swifter adds.

did we switch to swifter ads being the topic?

I am sorry for this reality but it began when sex became profitable and that began with the concept of property.

it began when someone decided to market the human body... does doing it a long time make it healthier?

I admire your defense of this issue but I would imagine that many women would find that defense somewhat marginalizing to them.

lets ask them....

This is the mens forum and while we are always interested in the thoughts and ideas of women our guildelines preclude their opinions here...

as a mod im sure you understand that women may be invited for opinion in this forum and in womens unless something has changed which i am not aware of....

The men respect the privacy of opinions in the womens forum.

we would probably need to poll that

And if you are ever curious enough,,,I admit to my curiosity from time to time,,,there are some equally interesting subjects brought up from time to time in the womens forum...

thanks, but i'm directing my energy on other matters at the moment tho

Lastly I find it personally difficult to continually constrict the boundaires of expression as measured by the tolerance of any specific individual. There are certainly boundaries and our filtering system does manage some of them but some discretion is not only allowed but expected,,I would assume.

which specific individual are you referring to Lenny?

Lenny

Ok let me flip this around, if there had been a post in the women's forum called "Who are your Favorite DILFs" would you have said anything? come NTR, TELL THE TRUTH...

truth is, i find marketing women to be unhealthy on several levels Tim, are you having a hard time understanding the idea yourself?

if my post is deleted i hope it will be done within guideines

Tim I belive you meant the term Cougar . Thats the more acceptable, but still an undesirable lable, given to older sexually active women. I speack for myself .. I don't like being refered to as a feline , nor do the size of extemities or internal organs dictate my being sexy .

Personnally I think this thread is a set up . just to provoke
It just doesn't add up coming from someone as intelligent as yourself. Tim.
Im provoked and Im not ashamed to say It. It angers me everytime I see the acronym used.

Im in agreement with NWTR.

The Term MILF stands for Mothers who Like to *****

Pornography is objectifying women period . They are portrayed in sexual acts where the "majority" of women woud be incapable of having orgasams .

Its all about pleaseing the man .PERIOD and supporting the lie of what most women need sexually.

I did some exploration On the net Of the term MILF and all I saw was .

pretty Boring after the fith one . Its a debasemnt of older women and no erudite words can dress up this window .
Its cracked , or should I say stained. Nice try though.

No erudite utterance could dress up the pane

The glass is cracked or should I say stained.

Has potenial eh Tim? X-D

Your definitions are a bit off:

MILF: Mom I Would Like to F... This is generally used to describe any sexually attractive woman of any adult age who happens to be a mom

Cougar: Refers specifically to older unattached women, single or divorced that aggressively date.

As for porno being exploitive, I doubt that the actresses consider themselves exploited it is in fact one of the few industries in which females earn far more money than their male counterparts. Jenna Jameson the most famous of these actresses is a multi-millionaire.

So my more subtle point is that our society has the inability to see women in the role of both mother, and sexual being... It is especially true in American and British culture, we are such repressed prudes, LOL!!

I would remind you that the "truth" can at times be very subjective...
