I think I may be addicted to beautiful women. I mean I can't seem to help myself . It's not like I'm addicted to sex or thinking perverted thoughts. But I find myself searching the net for beautiful actresses , beautiful models , beautiful anime women , beautiful fantasy women , I can't seem to stop it . Is this normal behavior ?
Maybe that's why I'm still single. All the women I ever had relationships with were pretty and had nice butts. I also love looking at women's butts , not so much their boobs but I always loved butts.
Can someone not put importance on how someone looks if they seem to be only attracted to beautful women or is that just born into you ?
I was on a dating site for a while and I was getting asked out on dates but these women were not very attractive to me and were possibly some of the nicest women out there . I mean I'm not attractive myself , so why should I expect to only date beautiful women.
I find beautiful women very intimidating to me . I know this is probably normal for most men but should I talk to my Psych about it.
How much is too much . I think I'll go look up some Kate Beckinsale pictures.
Here's a link I found about a 94 year old man addicted to beauty.

Do I need help?

all men admire beautiful women ( but please Don't touch their but.....) I'm sure that many men have the same feeling
It 'd be better if you talk with your T

We ALL need a little help--
Hey Babysteps-- I think it is possible you have some sort of fixation on ladies' butts if you think about them all the time, minus the other aspects of a relationship. I think they'd call this a fettish, but I'm not sure how far your's really goes.

Are you trying for real relationships at all, or solely focused on women who exist only in your mind? Perhaps the anime thing is related to low self esteem that needs to be worked on? Just wondering. Either way, anything that gets in the way of real relationships I'd say is something to bring up with your therapist and/or Pdoc.

If you want to get over your addiction to beautiful actresses, models etc. do a search on the internet for those actresses or models with no makeup on. Remember no matter how good looking or physically attractive a woman is somewhere there is a man who is sick of her.

On a more serious note by setting your standards so impossibly high you might be subconsciously creating the conditions for remaining unattached. If you are waiting for perfect you have a long wait.

on the occasions when i was inside a mental hospital, i was one of the few white guys. there were lots of women and i would get attention and it was nice.
all of the really beautiful ones inside had eating disorders. they wouldn't confide to their doctors about it but they'd tell me.
i never really wanted to get in their pants because i didn't want to get in their head either.
i don't think this experience is unique regarding attractive women to me--my psychiatrist rooted for new england in the superbowl against our local team because he knew one of the players. this bloke would show up with models he'd be dating when the models saw my doctor.
so there are a lot of body image issues many women go through.
i must confess that i really enjoy pix of beautiful women and that it's one of my few pleasures. but i also understand that these are photoshopped works of art and i do not expect the women i know to look like that. computers are used to lengthen womens legs. breasts are either surgically enhanced or pictorially enhanced.

in terms of human society i much prefer a woman with normal appetites for food sex and conversation.
i am enough of my own headcase without taking on that kind of new baggage.

I used to spend a lot of time on those hot-or-not "rating" sites, just clicking through the pictures...not because it made me feel good to rate people, but because there were some MAJOR beauties on there. Many pictures were just snapshots of ordinary people who were really good-looking, flaws and all...the kind of people you run across in real life from time to time and think "Wow!" Only it wasn't real life, it was a big time-waster.

Personally I think it's an indication of boredom, of a need for something more substantial to focus on. I don't see it as an addiction per se. It's certainly worth sharing with your psychiatrist.
