When you are single you sit there on your couch and think to yourself I wish I had a fine young lady next to me to give me some love. And then when you get that 'fine young lady' you almost wish you were single. It is a vicious cycle, are there any guys on here that feel otherwise?

No,I haven't, but I'm very much a schizoid.
It is my understanding, though, that having the mindset of "I need someone" will often land you with someone whom you don't want to be with, just because of that altered mindset. |

Just don't move in with her. I like to keep that whole illusion of "perfection" going.
My best to you. |

Not me, I have been married almost 27 years, and I'm totally amazed on a regular basis how lucky I am to have her in my life. I wouldn't go back to being single for all the money in the world.

Amen, Mike! 23 years married here - 3rd marriage. And I, too, am constantly amazed I have this wonderful, kind, beautiful, sexy, loving, accepting woman in my life. I so out - kicked my coverage!!

I think humans are very fickle creatures--I know just for myself that when I am at work, I wanna be home and when I am at home, I get bored sometimes wishing I was at work, cause there is nothing to do sometimes LOL.
I believe we get complacent.

I know what you mean. Sometimes you miss the thrill of the hunt, but it's better being in a stable relationship.

The thrill of the hunt and women are the game. I know some women who have felt preyed upon. And there are many that do not like games when it comes to relationships.
Women hunt too. More than once after getting my attention, the women has lost interest. Perhaps just another practice game to relieve the boredom until the real prey comes along? |
