Have a question, Why is it that when I try to ask a question, that is of importants to me, that I end up drawing a blank. My mind seems to go numb (figure of speech).

Could it be that you are trying to "overthink" how to say it or how to deal with it, that you lose you train of thought or get upset?

Do you have any physical problems that could help explain it? Stuttering? Strokes, seizures?

Yes, I have a tendency of hesitiating, when confronting or speaking in crowds. I dont like that I do that, I just want to get my point across by feeling intimidated,

Maybe try pacing yourself in your head--think about what you are going to say, then just say it?

Try not to worry about how it comes out?

I have the same problem, I can't seem to get a grasp on the things I want to say, especially in social situations. I don't know if it's some kind of social anxiety or social phobia or something, but what helps me is I take just a few seconds to "rehearse" what I want to say. I usually say "um..." think about it for a second then answer. I also keep things short and sweet so I don't overthink things. Hope this helps.
