Use it as a sort of an exercise. Try to take your time and explore different ways to delay or prevent your orgasm. Do different things to try to enhance your orgasm once it starts. All of these things can make you a better lover, not a worse one. |

When you don't have a regular sexual partner, masturbation is a vital necessity.
From the point of view of modern medicine, masturbation is not a deviation from the norm nor for teenagers nor for adults or mature people. Masturbation doesn't cause any harm to your body. American studies in 2004 confirmed that frequent ejaculation - either as a result of sexual intercourse or masturbation - protect a man from prostate cancer. In addition, abstinence from sex for more than three days harms semen. Fortunately, in today's society is much more sexual information and discuss it more calmly. Modern medical research has shown a link between abstinence masturbation and poor mental health. Forced abstinence - can be the cause of the imbalance, depression, minor and major psychoses. It was found that teenage masturbation does not prevent the tying of sexual contacts, does not affect the future sexual life and it is not associated with the formation of deviant sexuality (although it is noted that stereotypes masturbatory fantasies are fixed in the subconscious of man and can influence the selection of partners and preferred methods of sexual satisfaction). Sometimes, like during coitus, while masturbating people can harm their body, producing damages because of excessive force and sloppy use of auxiliary objects. It is important to note a few points on which masturbation has proven beneficial effects:
Most people do not stop masturbating even when they are fully satisfied with their sexual relationships. Some couples never discuss this issue, considering it harmful or obscene. But openness and trust in this matter will only benefit lovers. With openness comes more trust in the relationship. Maybe talking about it will help some couples to discover new forms of intimate stimulation. Which one, Sigmund or his daughter Anna. (I think that's her name).
Although they both produced noticable works, lots of Frued Snr. Has been largely now discredited. Anyway, for me at least increased frequency of masturbation is a good sign as the more depressed I get the less inclination I have to do it. Phreak |

I never thought is talk about this but I am on here support. It's been 7 years since I was in a relationship. She left me for an abusive guy because I was Too Nice for her. My mom passed when I was 10 and I just recently been able to open up to my counselor about a certain past abuse I had somehow blocked out of my mind that person also introduced Mr to porn when i was 10. It's been hard dealing with 1 rejection after another for being Too Nice...porn and masturbation just enough for me anymore especially when I hear other people in my apartment building having sex. These guys drink,do drugs, and often times I hear yelling and fighting. Yet here is a nice guy all alone can't even get a date. I feel like a loser because all I can do is masturbate while women go for abusers. Videos just don't cut it for me. I've gotten back to drinking a few times and wanting to end this loneliness one way or another. Masturbation isn't bad but sometimes its not enough. I'm not a bad person just Frustrated...

Masturbation should not be considered something that's inherently harmful to the human body. It relaxes one and it calms you down. don't let it bother you so much. Sometimes you feel like masturbation is a curse of some wrong thing you did in the past, but now i feel like that's not the case. All teenagers that I have come across have done it and so there's no need to feel like you've been shaming yourself. When you masturbate, learn to forgive yourself. Take it easy. Don't do it when you don't feel like it though.

one time i had considered getting my organ removed because i had been doing it. I cried over it so many times because I have been told that it was a terrible thing to do and that it would cause erectile dysfunction and have an effect on childbirth and everything. i was like what? Is this reliable information?

Word of warning though. Too much desensitizes you and can make it harder to achieve orgasm with a woman because she can't put as much pressure on you as you can with your hand.
