What is it about women that SOME of them like the dangerous side of men? Ive thought about this a lot so its only my thoughts as a guy. First, I know how you feel. Ive been accused of being too nice before and what kinda hurt about being told that was that some part of me knew that the me I was projecting at times came across as fake and insincere. SOME people think there is a thing as being 'too nice'.

I think SOME women want to have the feeling of security in feeling protected. They might have the feeling a 'too nice' guy might not be able to protect them? Im not sure but I think its a mistake to assume kindness is weakness.

i hate to burst your bubbles or anything but really i've felt like you before even though i don't drink. I mean, i was jealous of this one guy who could draw people to his side even though we were both the same race and had a lot in common. I mean, life isn't always going to be fair. Also, never compare yourself with another. I've tried that, and that left me in tears.

Unfortunately, some guys go through this. We had a running gag of how many times I could get turned down in a week when I was in college. And these weren't random "Hey wanna dance?" things, I would spend weeks or months developing a relationship with a woman before asking her out.

One even physically stepped back from me when I asked her out.

So for me the solution was finding a woman that had been treated really badly by past boyfriends and had given up on relationships. It was only at that point she considered me an option.

So that's what I would offer, quit looking for the standard girl at the club or bar and find someone that's sick of regular guys, lives her own life and is her own woman.

Barflies are attracted to dung anyway, you don't need one of them. It's hard to find them, but you're better off with an independent, strong woman.
