to be honest, I really don't like puberty. i am sick and tired of sinning. ever since I was 12, I've been viewing porn. At age 14, I began to masturbate. Gosh, i am so sick of doing that. I don't like watching porn. It's like I am being punished for something I did in the past.

It generally starts to slow down in your thirties, when testosterone levels begin to decline. At which point you will find you gain weight more easily and have a harder time losing it. You will lose muscle tone and flexibility. You will lose your breath and have trouble breathing with relatively little physical activity. Sickness will last longer and feel worse. You may have seen all sorts of advertisements for prescription and over-the-counter remedies for men who want their testosterone back. You'll know why when it happens to you.
The problem is the ideas you have in your mind about sin and guilt. I'm not saying that you are wrong or that the person who told you about sins was wrong. I'm not saying I'm right and that you should believe me instead. What I would suggest is that instead of holding such rigid views on sin and guilt, that you should start asking questions. Be sure that you really are judging yourself based on your own beliefs and not someone else's. Question the motives of the people who would tell you that you are sinful - misery loves company. Maybe they want you to be guilty because it makes them feel better, or at least no so alone. Maybe it is just habit. So long as you have guilt in your mind, question it and see if it is truly deserved. |

Porn is there to be appreciated, watch and enjoy as much as you can. Let your seed shoot freely. Lack of release is not healthy. Wank like you love it!

Masturbation itself is actually healthy and it's not a sin.

So basically, it's alright to masturbate every once in a while (like 2-4x a week), but it should get in the way of life and you shouldn't become a slave to it. |

It's especially important for men without partners. That sense of release is pretty helpful in relieving tension, sexual and otherwise. I doubt there is a guy on the planet who doesn't do it from time to time. I personally have a pretty healthy libido even at 48, and, well, I usually do it 3-4-5 times a week. I got no problem admitting that, although there was a time I would have been deathly ashamed to even talk about the subject. My T asked me if I did it, I did NOT answer that one, because she is a woman and I was embarrassed. I don't mind talking to the guys about it, although it is still touchy. I know some religions don't approve -- that is kind of old thinking in some ways, back to the era when masturbation was considered taboo, even harmful - "you'll go blind" etc. Have to respect that, but the guilt trip, as with the OP, is psychologically not a good thing. Makes them ashamed of satisfying a basic biological urge. I consider myself a pretty normal hetero male. Started at puberty, around 14, and I still do it, even when I have been with women. It's especially gratifying if they will do it to you, exciting. I think it is healthy, normal, and is a safe release for those not in committed relationships. Helps with maintaining function as we age, can be used as a tool in some situations to deal with PE or other sexual issues that trouble guys. Final comment, I have very rarely watched porn, I find it's not necessary for me, I fantasize about past and hopefully future situations. Please, OP, don't feel guilty, you are NOT being punished, by God or anyone else. Masturbation is common among higher animals, primates especially. It is just biology and evolution at play. |
