I went to the doctor for pain in my shoulder, I thought maybe I had a problem in my neck. I had gone to him a spring of last year and he had given me a prescription for high blood pressure. I had forgotten about it because I don't have high blood pressure when I'm not in the doctor's office and the blood pressure medicine that he wanted to put me could include a side effect of anxiety. today I go back and I going to the little room a different room than where I normally see him and he walks in with a young staff member and she has a computer on a stand. the doctor asked me about the high blood pressure medicine and I responded I had simply forgotten and I did as she is typing every letter of every word that I say. I understand they need to protect themselves and their degree and their insurance and the clinics insurance, but it was the most anxious and stressful time I've ever had at a doctors office. Hours later I'm still struggling with it.

I'm sorry you had such a rough time. And I completely understand what you mean, a trip to the doctor these days is nothing but a practice in anxiety and stress. I haven't had an actual problem addressed by a doctor in years ... well ... since I had my hernia surgery to be specific.
