Current professional mental therapy models promote feminist therapy. Organizations such as the National Association of Social Workers is promoting therapy that advocates "social change / social justice" that is feminist and anti-male in nature. So, my fellow men, if therapy has not worked for you now you know why. Therapy that promotes feminist "social change / social justice" does not want men to succeed. These values are sexist and bigoted and must be dropped by the NASW and other professional mental health organizations in favor of counseling that is helpful to all regardless of their sex. I have consistently received therapy that was totally useless to me personally and professionally. If you also had then same experience then don't be fooled any longer. If you are getting biased advice from your therapist then threaten and consider taking legal action. There is no place in mental health care for professional bigotry and sexism.
For instance, therapist after therapist recommended that I sleep around even though I explained multiple times that it was not for me. I did not like it personally and it was against my values as well as dangerous. Despite my requests, there was no effort made to help me with my social skills or with the choice of a new career. I was enticed to take up promiscuity as if I were merely a dumb man who would be content with merely having my sexual needs met; it was the lowest level advice and it was intentionally given to me - not to actually help me - but to foster the therapist's "social change / social justice" agenda that wants me to be loser so that others can succeed. I suspect that many other men are also being given bad advice of this nature as part of this policy. Promiscuity is approved by feminism as is the emotional abuse of men and, if you dare even argue back, then they label you an abuser even though you may have been subject to their mental /emotional abuse for a long period. It's blatant discrimination; they pat themselves on the back at how smart they are and how stupid men are. In my case, I developed severe C-PTSD from their abuse AND I DID NOT RECEIVE HELPFUL ADVICE FROM THERAPIST AFTER THERAPIST because of this social agenda. (Promiscuity is not an approved treatment for C-PTSD.) In short, they have designed it so that you cannot win. This is totally unethical. So, if you also are receiving or have received mental health care that is substandard because you are a man, then fire your therapist and threaten to sue. It's time to stand up and end the NASW's and similar "so-called" professional mental health organizations policies that are discriminatory, bigoted and sexist. Men need mental health care that helps them - NOT care designed to make them second class citizens. Maybe it's time to organize a "National Association of Men" just like the organization N.O.W. Fight back. Therapy cannot and should not be sexist. |

That is entirely possible, a lot of modern systems are biased against men. I'd like to know if there are any articles you're getting this information from that you can link me to as I'd be very interested to hear more about this. I'm not entirely sure it's necessarily a system directly designed to hinder the progress of men and help propel women forward but if it is in fact true that therapy operates under the same gender-oriented viewpoint as say, the education system (where it is particularly designed to cater to the feminine mind and men are treated as "defective girls"), then that is absolutely something that should change. I believe that any organization that operates under the broad assumption that all people should behave like this select margin that we have determined is the "proper" frame of mind needs to be changed, such as gender or racially oriented practices like these. I personally don't put a whole lot of stock in therapy for my own reasons - if you do and it works for you that's great - but I've always seen it as a tool for reform to their enforced normalcy. You are absolutely correct that therapy should not be sexist as should any of the other reformed standards in employment, education, and medicine and should be fought on a much larger scale than it's individual parts. I would love to learn further about this issue.

I have a friend who is studying to become a social worker. They are in graduate school. I have good grammar skills and they asked me to proofread and edit their papers. That's how I learned about the NASW's policy of bringing about "social justice". It's taught and it's official NASW policy even if they do not publicize it. Promoting "social justice" is a prerequisite if you want to become a social worker. Funny, I thought treating patients to help them with their lives was the goal but I guess not. Your treatment will vary depending on your race.
I've been psychologically abused on the job many times in different offices, most severely by women bosses of which I've had many. One female boss thought I was prejudiced because I was sexually conservative - I was pressed to reveal if I liked to sleep around after a co-worker came on to me and I politely turned them down. Even though I did not in any way knock people who did sleep around - I just said it's not for me (and, being gay, not sleeping around saved my life as I am a member of the lost AIDS generation). After saying that I did not sleep around, I was told that I was prejudiced. EXCUSE ME FOR SAVING MY LIFE AND LIVING LIFE ON MY OWN TERMS. I was hired to do work and not sleep with my boss's incompetent friends who also happen to work there. The person in question was a romantic obsessive who claimed to be in love with me based solely on occasional work interaction. We had never dated or done anything socially or sexually together. Frankly, I would describe the boss as a sociopath who hid behind a feminist facade. Because of the abuse, I saw a therapist during this employment. He never picked up on it. One therapist, who I had to stop seeing when I lost my job and insurance coverage, was furious that an employer had treated me so badly for so long - including after she fired me - that I developed C-PTSD and was not getting better because the abuse was never ending. Subsequent therapists - both straight and gay - all encouraged me to sleep around as a treatment for my C-PTSD even though I never enjoyed doing so. I asked for help with a new career and with social skills - all requests for which were ignored. (I am a classic introvert and want my relationships to have meaning; casual sex was always a letdown.) I could not figure out the T's treatment recommendation until I watched some feminists on TV who openly encouraged people to sleep around without shame. Even though I pointed out to the T's that I had never enjoyed casual sex, and dropped those that encouraged it because it wasn't going to happen, every new T kept saying the same thing. Finally, it occurred to me that I was receiving treatment that was feminist-oriented and was designed to pacify me but was not intended to help me thrive. I mean, it is ridiculous to think that sleeping around is an effective treatment for C-PTSD! In short, modern T's were TREATING ME AS IF I WERE A DOG who would be happy if only my physical sexual needs were met. I WAS SEEING THE T'S BECAUSE OF MY EMOTIONAL NEEDS (not physical ones) - AND NEED FOR EFFECTIVE TREATMENT WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE because I was an older white male. One female therapist went so far as to ask me if I would be better off with a male therapist and, after thinking about it, I agreed and requested a change. She then proceeded to play unprofessional games like cancelling my session without informing me and leaving me a phone message of the cancellation at the exact time the session was supposed to start. I trusted therapists but was repeatedly given bad advice based on my being an older white male with timeless values they deemed outdated. I am almost 60 years old and my most sexual years are behind me. I complained that my treatment was even ageist but no therapist would address my age issues either. Therapy that promotes "social justice" is biased. I am considering taking legal action against the clinics that refused to provide me with effective treatment. I AM NOT A DOG. |

That's bizarre. I know it shouldn't surprise me knowing of the current Regressive Left's actions. I am in my early 20's and am very much concerned with the direction these things are heading. I am prominently anti-feminist and anti-SJW. I definitely understand the outrage especially in the insistence that you participate in behaviors that you're not comfortable with. I can definitely agree with that mindset in that I don't judge those who like to participate in Polygamy, although I've always been entirely monogamous, that's just my inclination and it's interesting to see how, any set of beliefs, pushed far enough, becomes just as corrupt as what it originally thought. It used to be all about sexual liberation and being free from judgment for their sexual preferences, now it's about sexual repression and attacking people for their sexual preferences.
There is a lot of work that needs to be done in reversing the emerging biases in all forms of social circles that would have lasting effects on all of these individual social structures. I want to try to push reason and I will admit a fair deal of bias here, being a male victim of abuse at the hands of women and having been treated as though my burdens were somehow less severe. I think you have every right to be upset regardless of the elements to do with feminism and social justice in that you were denied access to proper mental health care so consistently and I'm genuinely sorry for that. |

It sounds like you had some questionable therapists, or as though there were a misunderstanding between you and one or all of them.
I find it hard to even consider that there's a massive, worldwide conspiracy against all men, and that we're being told to go sleep around because woman said so. That doesn't compute in my brain. If women had a hive-like mind -- since I'm getting the impression that you feel they are collectively conspiring against us -- surely it would be counterproductive to be so sexually available? You know, since in a lot of cases, that gives us our power back. Biologically, as I understand it, we're generally just male and female humans looking to mate; we're hurled forward by our drive to find a quality mate in order to have offspring. Then again, they too have "needs", so perhaps this is their plan all along, to mate! xD Jest aside, my experience with females in the MH area has been largely great. In-fact, I tend to prefer females; I usually find them easier to talk with, in general. I've not been encouraged to do anything untoward, like sleep around. __________________ { Kein Teufel }
