Male here, age 56 living in Salem, Oregon now - from Albuquerque, NM. Seeking support from other males dealing with problem wives. We both have had addiction issues (mine has been sex addiction/ cross dressing issues , though on hold and suppressed well for now). But my wife is a major hoarder. All she wants to do is shop and collect, spend 4-6 hours a day at Goodwills - buy this, buy that. I can stop being an enabler if I could find a job, that would keep her shopping down, it is hard to find a job at my age, gotta keep trying.

I was married to a hoarder. It's very stressful. We're divorced now and she's started to let go of things she's kept forever that she just doesn't need. The changes are nice to see. There is hope for Hoarders.
Restaurants and Walmarts are always hiring, because it doesn't pay well and people treat you like crap. I've worked both, and honestly, Walmart was better. |
