Let's get some things straight as this spiral effect is something of an underachievement. When you come out of the gate trying to be so superior it only shows your weakness. That the little girl trapped inside is trying so hard to be heard, a voice that was never allowed out as a child I suppose. You speak of how smart, how great, what drugs work for your disorder... Your full of crap!!! Your a lonely person because in real life your actions are probably completely opposite. Your the one in the corner because of your social awkwardness you come here and become loud because this venue allows for this. In turn this makes that little girl heard!! Your realities are hidden behind strong words which is your way of building yourself up. That's fine because that is a true narcissist only I imagine you are only an extrovert online and introvert in life. As for the others thinking I follow your lead... Let's be serious we all know that I do not follow so please stop making yourself feel something that is far from truthful.
Last but not least having NPD allows us to have fun here every now and again but let's be serious, this is something not to be proud of. So go take your adderall and keep finding the world more interesting.... Real winner!!!
Love always the original underground!!!
Ps
I will be away for the next few days so I will see all the comments when I get back!!!
Thanks for this!

Touchy, touchy. All these indignant words over a solicited introduction!

Let me start over.

I have not ever been diagnosed with a narcissistic disorder, but I see that I have narcissistic traits. I am interested in learning about these narcissistic traits, and about the concepts of pathological vs healthy narcissism and the overlap of symptoms between narcissism and "giftedness", narcsissism and ADHD, narcissism and chronic PTSD.

I didn't think I could be a real narcissist at all but here I am, alpha narcissist after my first post. It is something to ponder.

Teacake - it sounds like you're really struggling with your self inside. I hope you can continue to use this forum to help ease some of those defensive behaviors you might be feeling you have to put up to validate yourself inside.

Ahh...so you're an undiagnosed narc...mhm. Sounds to me like you're just trying desperately hard to be one. To me when I compare you to the other narcs in here, you are nothing like them. I would say histrionic is more your fit...just an opinion.

It still exists. All ten personality disorders are included in the DSM-5... but they have this new section where only six of them are included. It's like okay so which section are they using for diagnosis?

Eh, I don't care... both of my PD's are still there. Hahahahaha.

Teacake -- have you ever heard of mania? You sound like your grandiosity is just a side-effect of your medications. Which does not a narcissist make... An 'alpha' or 'unique', no less. AD-induced mania is what killed Kliebalt. It would be such a shame to hear you slighted the wrong person.
Thanks for this!

I'm too bored to be manic. The narcissists I uses to know were really smart and lively. Im nostálgic.

That certainly proves you aren't an N. Both statements.

Interesting. Was not aware working with a psychoanalyst was the prerequisite for turning a phrase in such a way, you evidently were unable to follow.

In any case, you are not an narcissist, according to your previous acknowledgement (no dx) and the statement above. I, too, find N's smart, lively...and usually very witty. Sarcasm has a purpose; isn't tossed about like flapping wings needing notice.

I find you...dull. And I'm certain I require no analyst of any kind to come to that conclusion.

But carry on...I understand you're amusing yourself. Pity, you're not amusing anyone else.
