I don't believe so. One can be arrogant, but still treat otherswith respect and have an ability to feel empathy. Narcissists view other as mere objects and only want what they can get out of them no matter what the cost to the other person.

My point is exactly what I said in my previous post. It is not helpful to assume that because someone is arrogant that they are automatically a narcissist. Of course it could be a symtom. For the record I'm not the one that asked the question.

Is there some kind of secret code about what opinions we are allowed to express on this forum?
