Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can help or share their story. I have upped my dose of Zoloft from 100mg to 150mg whilst also ceasing my solian 100mg as directed by PD. since I have upped my dose of Zoloft I have had extremely bad anxiety and depression. I have read that with changes in dosage your symptoms may come back temporarily. Has anyone els had this happen when increasing a dose or Zoloft or any SSRI? I have pure o and have been having suicidal obsessions also I don't want to die or kill myself it's just because the depression is bad sometimes I feel really low.

Thanks. Lenny

Hi Lenny,

Welcome to PsychCentral and to the OCPD forum! I don't take Zoloft so I don't know anything that will help you but if you post your message in the Psychiatric Medications forum maybe somebody there can help. There are other forums, too, for depression and anxiety and you might find some of the threads there interesting and helpful, if you feel like checking them out sometime. Again, welcome!

Hello Lenny88: I'm sorry I cannot answer your question either. (Perhaps the right member has not yet seen your post. They may yet.) However I noticed this was your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! I hope you continue on with us & find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. There are many knowledgeable & caring members here. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
