Ok, so the first time I heard about trich, I was in a hospital-based treatment program and the group I was in was talking about it. It was a fun word to say, almost like it legitimized what it is - hair pulling. I never did it, til recently. I have had issues with SI for years: cutting, burning, bruising. But now I've had it brought to my attention that I pull at my eyebrows and eyelashes. I have tried to stay conscious of it and notice I do it when I'm stressed/anxious/etc. Does anyone have any Dx info on this? I'm super embarrassed by my lashes - I've even started wearing false ones because they're so thin/sparse. I think wearing false ones also helps me from pulling at my real ones, but I LOVE taking them off.....Gahh what is wrong with me?! I feel so weird....
