does anyone else have problems with shopping? for example i went shopping this morning at a different store of the same chain of where i usually go, and because the store layout wasn't exactly the same, i felt confused.....

I especially hate when grocery stores are not set up the proper way (produce not on the right side of the store, meat at the back, dairy on the left w/ frozen foods and beer).

bah.....

You are not alone. Don't you hate it when a store you normally shop at decides to redo their layout and everything is on a different aisle than it used to be. I get so confused.

photographic memory, makes it a lot worse, since I usually plan out the shopping trip before I go.

I would've been awesome at "Supermarket Sweep."

I also can relate ,and it makes me mad that you cannot found you favorite items that they dont sell any more.I s shopping additions that same as ocd?I do have ocd with the bad thoughts and biteing finger nails and keep checking things over again.Cause it part of ocd then I have to go the doctor so they can upper meds or give me some more .And what also bugs me about stores the customers be lazy and put the items In the wrong place thats not cool too do that they should have class to put It back its right place Cause If you dont wanna buy it thats cool but dont be rude and put It in the wrong place because now the people who work there have to work hard and put It back in the store where the items belong

bah.....
Take care and wish you good luck

On my way home tonight I was thinking about stopping at the store first, but the only one between my work and home, is not set up correctly, so I just came home...

I just started like obsessing over like what I would get and where it was, and why is the frozen on the other side of the store where the milk is...

This time at least I was able to realize what was going on, so I stopped it. But that's primarily because I've been in a good mood today (?) since I really didn't have to deal with all the people there that have half a brain (say 85% or so). I zoned out most of the day, but got a lot of work done, and I even worked an extra hour.

I fill my prescriptions at Walmart but I hate needing to pick something up while I am there. The last time it took fifteen minutes to walk to the back of the store and grab a bag of cat food and some toilet paper and go back to the pharmacy. My asthma can't handle that.

I hate that too!

Then the pharmacy lines are always way too long, and then I remember I needed to get something else, so I go get it, and start the wait in line all over again. Usually, that happens 2-3 times, so what was a 10 min trip to get my meds, ends up being more like an hour.

Now, I just make my husband go.

I loved supermarket sweep! Thanks for the reminder...

It is soooo annoying when they move stuff in the store. I'm like you Queen, prepared with a list in order by the aisles in the store...I know where everything is. It's nice. Then I go to the store and everything is moved....so confusing, but if I need toilet paper, I have to go find it. I'm sure they have a reason for re-organizing, but it sure does mess with my day.

Shopping is always quite frustrating for me. I have to do things in a specific order and if they move something (or if they are out of something) it completely throws me off. Many times I end up abandoning the effort half way in because I just can't take it anymore, and that comes with it's own set of frustrations. Like still having to go back and finish shopping.

I also do that as well. Especially when the store is crowded....and there's little kids running around screaming.

There are a couple grocery stores around here where you can submit your shopping list online, and they do the shopping for you, you just have to pick it up. I have always hesitated on using them, b/c I always have to inspect things before I purchase them.
