Anyone else notice that when they're sick, stressed or over tired, their OCD gets worse?

I definitely noticed last night when I decided that I needed to clean my toothbrush before AND after brushing my teeth because it was too dirty and contaminated. Wtf?!?

I've also been doing more checking and counting (regular compulsions, just more frequently)...like this morning, I checked for my key, phone and chaptsick like 3 times before leaving (a ritual I have), and then after I left I couldn't stop thinking about "What if I didn't lock the door?" (Rituals surround that as well).

I'm currently sick and stressed and tired, so I guess it's to be expected...

What about you?

naturally. It only makes sense it would get worse then. OCD is a stress related disorder and is intensely worsened when someone is tired, sick or stressed. You need to find an OCD community site. Most people with OCD wont stay on a site this large and diverse.
