What happens is that I have to keep checking that doors are locked and if my door is closed incase the dogs might come in. I check about twice. I have to keep checking if I have put my alarm on about many times. When I write sometimes I feel like I have to change something and I get a feeling I have to change and sometimes on MSN I keep changing my font so many times. Do I have OCD or not?

We cannot diagnose you here because most of us aren't professionals. But if this is interfering with things you do on a daily basis, then you should ask a professional and they will help you understand what's going on here. Dx's almost always have to do with how much the symptoms are getting in the way of doing normal things.

Oh yeah I'm stupid It doesn't really interfere with my life too much. Just wondered if they were signs and symptoms. It doesn't matter though

I should have added, that even if it doesn't generally affect your daily tasks, if it causes you a great deal of stress or grief, that is also means for concern.

I do this too. Every night before I go to bed, I make sure everything is off, computers, TV, etc., make sure both doors are locked, make sure the toilet seats are down (so my kitten doesn't jump in). Some times I check these twice. But I have other OCD symptoms that make this a bit more complicated.

I don't check like PCs or TVs before I sleep. It's normally checking money and checking whether my door is closed.

in order to be OCD you have to be spending an hour or more per day involved in the compulsive task... so I would say no. But if you are doing that, you are a prime candidate to develop OCD and if i were you i would keep an eye on the things you feel strongly like you HAVE to do.. good luck
