I like to scratch my head and remove the dandruff. i started doing this when I was in my teens. I am now in my fifties and have a scalp condition which is difficult to get rid of.The scalp condition comes and goes depending on how stressed i am. It is also present on my face, where I have rosacea. The new hair colour I use,is much easier on the scalp I didnt understand why I was doing this. (scratching) All i remember is going to the bathroom mirror to see my dandruff in the mirror and to remove it. I think it had something to do with removing the 'bugs' in my head - the things that worried me in my psyche. dawnhopeful

Hi, dawnhopeful. So, did the doctor give you gunk to wash your head/hair with to get rid of the condition? Here's a little article that says how to work in the head scratching habit if you want: http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...ing_habit.html
