I didn't know pulling out hair has such a fancy name. I do this for 4-5 years. Mostly when I'm stressed- writing an essay or studying for an exam is enough. I tried to wear a headscarf or tell myself- look how stupid you look with your hands in your hair, like a stupid monkey. Nothing works. I have also little wounds on my scalp. I have visited a hairdresser once in my life and I had to answer some pretty troubling questions. My mother heard this and I refused to explain anything. She didn't notice the hair on the floor next to my bed. I feel stupid when my cat stambles on them or when I stroke her and see my hair on her lovely fur. My almost boyfriend asked me if I dye my hair and he touched my hair when asking that- I jumped away.I can't stop. I would like to stop but I can't. It's actually quite funny that I can stop cutting and burning but the hair issue- that's too difficult.

I would go to my doctor and see if there was something he could suggest to help me.
