Hi.

Even though I'm making progress with ocd, most of its gone but a new problem developed the other day and finding a way to deal with it is bugging me.

I've had some bad headaches at times which can trigger a new problem with ocd.Its like when the front windscreen in your car gets a crack in it then you hit a bump in the road and the crack spreads in a new direction. This headache did that to ocd.

The problem is I usually put pots and pans on the kitchen bench with water in them, tap water.(We get dirty water and clean mud)If I leave the water for several hours things like the chlorine, etc have time to eveporate then I tip the water into the sink then wash the apples quickly then drain them. Not this time. The new headache made a right mess of that.

The apples were bought from the local supermarket and brought straight back here.Do I need to wash them to be safe to begin with?

I thought about boiling water.Let it go cold and then rinse them.I dont know if I the ocd will stop me doing that.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Chris.
