I've been suffering from trich for about 6 years. I was just hospitalized and my psychiatrist in there prescribed me n-acetylcysteine. Its used for people who've tried to overdose on Tylenol but she said its been found to help people with ocd. Its helped with the urges to pull. You can order it online. Its a rare medication and my pharmacy had to order it and also my pcp had a hard time finding it. Like I said it can be ordered off the net and I also asked the pharmacist if its just as good as getting a prescription and he said yes. So hopefully it'll help you all!!

I am absolutely going to try this. I also read that it may help with some autoimmune diseases, and I've just been diagnosed with lupus - so it may help that too.

I hope it helps! I'm very sorry to hear that. My mom also has lupus. I really hope it helps that too. I need to tell my mom about that. Good luck!
