hello all my friend has gone through a lot of problems recently with depression.
he was on anti depressants but suddenly stopped taking them a few months ago. then he had about 2 weeks ago a let down from a girl. ever since then he has been down and depressed. and only a few days ago had dangerous thoughts in his head. that kept repeating them self. i may add THESE WERE NOT VOICES.
the things that are going through his mind is kill kill kill though he would NEVER do that as he loves everybody. how does he get rid of this without ending up locked up any help appreciated.

Why did he stop taking the anti-depressants? I would suggest getting back on the anti-depressants.
Has he had issues with obsessions/compulsions (OCD) before? This could be an obsessive thought pattern.
