I have not really done a ton of work on my ocd issues.....but I feel like I probably ought to.

if something is not just so....or clean enough....I will obsess over it...for way to long.

for example I was going to clean around the house today and I did clean. But for several hours I was distracted because I saw something on my new phones protective case that was a blemish....a small scratch. I wanted or felt I need to correct this.

I have only had it for a little bit of time, and it was not a cheap thing to buy so I just simply wanted to fix it.

but its not so much that i even want to its more like I feel like I have to I invested lots of money in this and I want it to be in good if not perfect condition.

I do this far to easily and far to often over things like this or other things.

and I don't for see it as being a good thing.

I mean its good to care about about things and take care of them but to the degree I do it....its disconcerting.

what can I do?

Hello, kala83. Have you asked your treatment team about this. Maybe you might print your post for them and them help you resolve your concerns.
