When I my OCD gets worse than normal I tend to scratch my legs raw to the point of bleeding, sometimes they get infected. Usually when this happens it coincides with a manic episode and I end up sleeping with socks on my hands. This helps a bit, but as of late my subconscious mind has caught on and I take the socks off my hands in my sleep. I guess it is time to get out the duck tape. Does anybody ever have this.

Has your doctor suggested a med? For some reason I think there is one, my stepgrandmother used to scratch until she bled or bruised. And if I recall they gave her medicine for it. I want to recall my mom was floored by the fact it was a psych med, hence my feeling there's a medication for scratching.

I do! I mostly scratch my face and chest. It sucks because then I look like I'm on meth with all of the sores, but it's OCD.
