I have been a huge film fan ever since I was a child and have always had a hard time when waiting for a long anticipated films. This time however, I am being much more... obsessed over a certain film. The film is "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and I have been waiting for it to come out ever since it was announced in the summer of 2013. However, it is almost knocking on the door, as it is being released on the 24th of April here in the UK. That's two months from now.

However, I have become obsessed by it. I can hardly wait for it, can't stop thinking about it and constantly worry whether something will prevent me from watching it on opening night (like having to work that day, get into hospital or something like that). It is my most anticipated film ever and I just don't want to miss it... The more time passes and the release comes closer, the more I feel time actually gets slower and get stressed about it.

I know my problem may seem strange, but I just wanted to share it and ask for an advice what to do in order not to stress about that film and be patient until it gets released. Thank you and much appreciated.

Guess, you could have a little fun with it? Setting up a countdown ticker. The earliest you can ask for the day off, do so. Over here, in the states, we can buy tickets online and ensure seating. Take steps ahead of time, to make it happen, will reduce stress about it not happening. And have fun. Does look like a good movie.

Okay, several days are left until I see the long anticipated movie. However, today when I had a hair cut, I forgot to switch between lengths and now I have a small spot without hair among the all other longer hair. As I said, I have been worrying about many things that might prevent me from seeing the movie, do you think that they will let me in the cinema even with that small shaved spot on my head? Thank you.

Small shaved spots on head are unlikely to be considered good grounds for excluding you from the cinema. In the very unlikely event that anyone is so idiotic as to make something of it, just go to another cinema.

And booking is already possible: http://www.odeon.co.uk/films/the_ave...130/#showtimes

Thanks for the info but trust me, I've booked my tickets nearly a month ago. Also, there are no other cinemas in the city where I live. Anyway, thank you for the support, I guess I will find out soon enough.

There is more than one city - I would not wonder if there are not buses and coaches to London from where you live - give yerself a day out in the city. No one cares what anyone looks like in London, whatever the small minded in provincial towns think.

Hello venom. I was just curious how things went? For me personally, sometimes if I let myself get really excited and anxious about something -when that something actually happens I will feel bad that i was so anxious or I will feel let down or I will feel embrassed/silly etc (I'm not really sure how to describe the feeling). Also I was wondering do you think your obsessing over the film had negatively impacted your life in someway?
