Look, technically I was diagnosed with OCD, but I have had a lot of diagnosis. I decided to quit "complaining." After awhile, they took off the OCD diagnosis, but now I'm confused.

I don't have that particular symptom, but I've read in books about OCD that a common symptom is thoughts of harming self or others, when there is not an intention to do so. These thoughts can be very distressing, understandably, as you can become afraid you are really going to act on them or at the very least you don't want to be thinking of causing harm.
When I was a kid I used to have the thought "I love Satan" frequently. I lived in a religious household and I was sure this thought was going to send me to hell. I've grown so much in therapy I actually have a sense of humor about this thought now. My best wishes to you, and hugs. |

I used to be like that with a certain sequence of numbers (I enjoy math) and found that mediating along with other calming techniques helped. Also, meds helped as well. It took years for me to finally relax about the number sequence thing so you might not find instance relief for it. I'd ask your therapist about it and you should bring this up at your next session.

I know this is late but you're not alone with those thoughts. I have them time to time and they're distressing. It does sound like OCD. Best thing to do is ignore them. Let them fizzle out.
