My OCD habits that i stopped after the panick attack:

habits that i stopped in 1 day, all these happened automatically by knowledge and realization that it is mental disorder which is not my life direction:
1. checking door many times before sleeping and watching movie
2. touching nose
3. looking many times at the mirror, but there is one habit that i look sometimes at the mirror and smile, this one i want to continue, . since smiling is good thing
4. checking my car hand break
5. checking my car key in my pocket several times
6. pressing random keyboard buttons hardly

habits that i stopped after 2 and half months:
habit of feeling of lack of purpose in life. Actually this feeling was introduced by my panick attack. i never used to feel like this before panick

habits that i stopped after three months
1.habit of fear of depression
2. habit of fear of loosing control (i gained it after lots of self talk, books and videos)

Habit disturbing me right now:
-intrusive thoughts but not so extreme like 2 weeks back and minor fear almost all the time, is it General anxiety or what? Any idea?

Best way to know for certain is to have an evaluation with a medical doctor.

WOW, i am so happy and feel great relief to find one paragraph from Lucinda Basset Book, From "Panick to Power"

The truth of intrusive thoughts:
"The truth of the matter is that scary thoughts about knife or anything else are only a diversion, a way of distracting ourselves from something that we need to deal with but, as yet, are unwilling to face"
Thanks for this!
