Hi guys, here's some things about me. I'm always searching through my boyfriends stuff for answers. I constantly think he's cheating, but he's not. I think things are going to blow up like vacuums, washers, dryers, stove, oven...you name it. I'm always unplugging things so it doesn't catch my hair on fire. My thought process always leads to suicidal thoughts. For example, "I'm buying a house...I'm going to kill myself" it makes no sense. I bite my nails a lot. I'm so upset because I feel abnormal. Gahhh.. I need help guys!

I'm sorry to hear that these thoughts are plaguing your mind, Alone_and_Afraid. I hope that you meet with a mental health professional soon and work on these obsessive thoughts. Therapy has worked well for me for my obsessive thoughts!

I've realised and told myself that "if you go searching, you will find something".
What I mean is, if you convince yourself your partner is cheating/being unfaithful and start going through their stuff, you may find something - but because of your pre-consumptions, you have already taken it out of context and made a scenario in your head that won't be shifted. The thing that you find may have a story behind it but you will be blinded by your own thoughts. I've accepted that everyone has their own lives and I don't go searching or investigating - but this is my solution and it is very personal. |
