I have tinnitus (ringing in my ears) and I think it is from the Luvox I was prescribed for obsessive thoughts. If I stop the Luvox what else is good for OCD? I also take Effexor, Abilify, and Restoril for sleep. I don't think I have full blown OCD, just the obsessive thoughts.

thanks,
Binti
Thanks for this!

I have the same thing except with depression. I take Abilify and Paxil and feel much better with my obsessive thoughts.

Everyone is different in regard to what, if any, meds will help. Just be aware that drugs such as Abilify can have some heavy duty side-effects. My son had a 35 pound weight gain, sky-high triglycerides, and an infection of the lining of the heart........all attributed to Abilify. I would suggest trying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy before resorting to these meds.
