Hello. I have OCD, and last week, it was really has. I've been going through a heavy contamination phase lately, and last Sunday (not Sunday, but before that), I got a new bottle of hand sanitizer, and I finished it on Friday. My hands feel dirty all the time. They do as I type this too. I finished the bottle in 5 days. I feel I may do that with the bottle I just got. My hands feel bad, like really dirty. Want to wash them.

I totally understand what you're going through. I have OCD and it only affects me when I'm anxious. I do what you call "checking". I'm I can't stop it when it does happen. It's hard and makes me late to appointments. While I don't have the symptoms that you exhibit, I turn also go through phases where I wash my hands a lot and use hand sanitizer.
