I should be studying for a test, but instead I’m stuck researching acute bacterial rhinosinusitis on the internet. I recently got over a cold and now I’m afraid I’m sick again. I guess I’m trying to reassure myself that I’m not going to die from this disease.
I believe my chances of not needing an antibiotic are about 80% *deep breath* But what about that 20% chance I end up needing to take an antibiotic? I can’t take an antibiotic. I’ll be researching the possible side effects of the medication until sunset. This is an example of how having OCD interferes with college.
I’m incredibly depressed. My outlook on life: I’m a carbon-based organism residing on a planet orbiting an average sized star in an average galaxy. My life experience are like fleeting images with no apparent meaning

This is pure OCD,you are over fearing about infection, bacterial infection is a simple thing
evey one get it , OCD make these kind of small things huge and waste our time on it

-take 15-30 min outdoor or our of your house / meet with friend
-take deep breath it will calm down your mind
-first convince your mind " this is a useless thought"
but OCD will repeat this thought try to ignore

do your work /study
