Has anyone experienced this? I am fearful of contamination from the floor, and it has even affected how i put my shoes on. Have you found anything helpful?

I'm sorry you have such a fear, I know it's hard to cope with.

I have a degree of fear about the floor. I try to keep my floors at home as clean as possible, but mostly I fear that some sickness will be on my floor and my cats will catch it (a parasite or something). Medication helps decrease my anxiety/fear somewhat. Besides that, I just try to remember to breathe and I ask for the universe's help to calm me.

I'm fearful of walking in my bare feet because there's mice in my apt. I try my utmost to keep food off the floor but its really hard to bend down with bad knees. I use a broom sweeper upper. At least that's what i call it.
