I've encountered this odd anxiety/OCD/ paranoia thing: I will start obsessing about something and I will worry that people are thinking about the same thing I am.
For example, I realized I made a mistake at work, and I'm afraid that other people are thinking about it, too, even though it might not be noticeable. Or when obsessing about something else, I'm afraid everyone knows. ![]() Does anyone else experience this? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I have not experienced the feeling that others are thinking about the same thing i am, but have experienced paranoia thinking others are thinking about me.
When this happens i just tell myself there is no reason for people to be thinking about me, and the world does not revolve around me. There is no reason for others to be thinking about the same thing as you. Your thoughts and worries are yours and yours alone. Hope this helps Good luck

MusicLover82 ... No. I haven't quite experienced that situation. I think it is just the reverse for me. I have had people who I was talking to say something like, "You know how you always feel superior to people you are taller than?" or "You know how you get a number (say 7) in your head, and you have to put 7 tic tacs in your mouth." Ummm...No, for both situations for me. They think other people think the same as them. It is interesting the way the brain works, and we all have our little idiosyncracies. Personally, I always feel I'm the weird one...that no one else in the world feels the way I do. Insecure, I guess.
