I was taking 100mg Clomipramine which was prescribed quite recently for OCD. It wasn't working and was making my mental health/daily life worse in many ways but I was forcing myself to keep taking them. Then I went to collect my prescription and it turned out the pharmacy had messed it up; they thought I was on 50mg (one tablet) a day and that my prescription wasn't due for another month. After being sent back and forth between the doctors surgery and the pharmacy and getting no help I decided it wasn't worth the effort for something I can't stand taking so I didn't bother making any more efforts to get them. I have an already-arranged mental health team appointment at the end of this month, so far it's been about a week since I've taken them and I think I'm starting to feel the difference, my OCD is hell at the moment. One of my worst compulsions is to write things down and it's really taking over lately. Can anyone suggest temporary coping mechanisms to make this more bearable until my appointment where I can hopefully get re-medicated? I would really appreciate it. Please and thank you!
