I'm sorry if this is long.

I tend to struggle with anxiety but it goes up and down a lot. It is like a rollercoaster. I have an OCD problem which involves a lot of the anxiety that I am describing. I worry that I can predict bad things just by thinking about them. Since I have an OCD problem, I tend to seek reassurance a lot. Also, I have a problem with confirmation bias.

Since the day began (7/19), I've been struggling with some worrying thoughts. Today, I had some disturbing thoughts. I had disturbing thoughts about my life being ruined. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I'm worried that I'm bringing these thoughts into existence by thinking about them or talking about them.

Today, I used the internet to compulsively search for stuff to get rid of my anxiety. But it never really helped. When I search for information on the internet, I have to search until I feel 110% better. If not, I'll keep searching.

There are so many things that I want to say but I want to keep it short.

Please help.

1.) Is it wrong to use the internet to answer distressing thoughts?
2.) If so, what is the proper solution?
3.) What do you think of confirmation bias?
4.) How do you stop worrying when kit is hard to stop worrying?
5.) Any advice?
6.) Any thoughts?

What kinds of things are you searching for on the internet?
