All, I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and have been on Zoloft for almost a year. It helped with my OCD symptoms tremendously; however, it wasn’t able to get rid of my anxiety completely, so I recently switched to Lexapro. On the Lexapro, I find the benefit of reduced anxiety; however, I am frequently tired and not motivated. On the Zoloft, I felt more myself and more energized, whereas the Lexapro makes me calmer. Is there any way to get a happy medium between these two drugs? I know some people add Wellbutrin to Lexapro to combat the sexual side effects and lack of energy.

Thanks,

Andrew

I tried Zoloft definitely didn't work ( I tried that in my teens) I tried lexapro I think as teen also but I don't remember much about it. I need to find one also that helps with anxiety and OCD I heard celexa is helpful but again I haven't heard much about it. I'm currently on Paxil and sorta helps with the intrusive thoughts but not so much with my anxiety.

I hate Lexapro and I thought Paxil was garbage. I recommend Zoloft but also say avoid Celexa. Zoloft is the real MVP. (Most valuable pharmaceutical)

Hello! I hope this message finds you well, or at least managing.
I am on 100 MGs of Wellbutrin for my depression/ anxiety and 100 MGs of Zoloft for my OCD. I've found that this particular combination of drugs has me feeling the closest to "normal" I have on quite some time. I was on Lexapro for quite some time as well, but have never been on all three at once.
I wish you the best.
