I have OCD and I get intrusive thoughts that cause these feelings. This may be a gross example, but when taking a #2, I sometimes imagine people watching me and laughing and it can be quite difficult to get rid of these thoughts and do my business comfortably. I also understand that this may be a funny example as it amuses me when I'm not going through it, but when I am going through it, it really sucks.

Sorry to hear you feel embarrassed by doing #2. I guess besides closing the bathroom door it is important to close the door to our detractors in our head. Fortunately everyone who would criticize you has to do #2 also.

I eat lots of food with bulk like fruits and veggies and drink plenty of fluids so # 2 happens naturally, sometimes with out much effort.
