She acknowledges that she has restless leg syndrome and plans to ask the doctor. She's had it for years-worn holes in the chair fabric by grinding her feet constantly. Is there any medication for this? Then there is the burping. I think maybe she compulsively swallows air so that she often emits slightly audible burps. I have had to tell her when concentrating on some project "I can't do this with you next to me burping". Her reply is "what about you coughing a lot?"

Well... I don't know about the burping thing. But I have also had something that I, at least, consider to be restless leg syndrome. (I've never seen a doctor about it.) Actually, over the years, it has spread beyond just my legs so that, nowadays, I feel it pretty-much throughout my body. I once mentioned it to my psychiatrist. He offered to write me a prescription for Klonopin. He said that would take the feeling away. However I declined. There may be better med's available for RLS. But I don't know what they are. Perhaps other members, here on PC, will. By the way, one thing I do to relieve the restlessness in my legs is to sit cross-legged on our couch as if I were meditating. In my case, at least, it helps a lot.
