They say that you should just keep on doing what you do to stop being nervous, but that could be hard when you don't know what you even want to do.

I am nervous the same way, I just do my routine things as best I can. Doctors won't prescribe me benzos.

I have the same kind of anxiety as well. My therapist always says to stay with the anxiety/keep doing what you're doing unless it becomes entirely overwhelming. Sometimes it's hard for me to judge what "entirely overwhelming" means since my anxiety can get so bad, though. Have made progress, though, so it's doable!

Side note: I do take an antihistamine prescribed for anxiety when it gets too bad and starts interfering with my ability to work/function.
Thanks for this!

This might sound strange but when I get nervous for no reason it usually means something very bad is going to happen in my life soon. It almost never fails.

Deep breathing can help. There are also some herbs like chamomile and lavender you might try. Also, try to avoid caffeine.

Is it Vistaril you take? I'm curious because I am looking for one to help me.

You see, I'm capable of letting OCD thoughts float, but to the detriment of turning them into generalized anxiety.
