How long does clomipramine take to kick in for OCD? I was on 25 mg for four days, then went to 50 mg for five days, and I just started 100 mg every night. How long will it take to kick in? I am desperate for relief from my OCD!

For Prozac it took being on the maximum dose for 13 weeks to start stabalising... takes quite some time, be patient.

I’ve been on it now for two weeks and feel nothing. Does anyone else have any additional insight on how long it should take?

And I go up to 150 mg a day tomorrow, by the way.

It take some time , say may be 3 months. It depends person to person. Are you taking Theraby for OCD? Hv your doctor advised anything about therapy

Clomipramine can take 6 to 12 weeks before you notice an improvement in your symptoms. It takes time for a medication to work so you should consult your doctor before increasing or decreasing the dosage.
