I thought I would have little trouble letting things go but the truth is, I have trouble doing that the older I get. I didn't know that I'd be so attached to some objects, namely newspapers and magazines even though I managed to get rid of them in a timely manner. I just don't understand it. I felt so attached to those models, the up to the moment fashion, and the way the clothes were worn that I just couldn't seem to let it go. I noticed this habit shortly after I turned thirty. The fashion did help me because later on, I started wearing prettier, more up to date fashions instead of ones stuck in the eighties to nineties. I didn't feel that obsessed when I was much younger than that. I wonder if obsessions can worsen with age. I just thought I'd put that out there.

Dear modestlychee6463,
My obsessions worsened with age. Luckily medical treatment helped me to reverse that. It was pretty rough before that. My heart goes out to you! Sincerely yours, Yao Wen |

Thanks for your support. I think it started because I was beginning to lose contact with people I knew around that time.
