I struggle a lot with OCD. It has many symptoms, but right now the one I’m struggling with is asking the same question over and over and over again. I have to ask multiple times about plans or what’s for dinner or where we’re going. You get the picture. It’s time consuming and my husband is about to pull his hair out. I feel like I have to ask and if I don’t something will happen like we wont make the event or something stupid. So I’m just wondering if anyone also deals with this? And how you cope? Thank you so much in advance

I have some OCD, but not your particular symptoms. What I do is talk back to my OCD. ( "You're back, you little swine.") I sometimes swear at it and call it names.

Also, I practice mindfulness and meditation to help deal with anxiety.

I heard of someone wearing an elastic band around their wrist and every time an intrusive thought came they snapped the elastic band and said "Stop!"

Hope you can find a solution. Maybe someone else on here has better advice??
