Hi - I suffer from OCD/Health Anxiety but am being treated with meds and therapy -

I was wondering if anyone out there goes through phases - where you are fine for days or even weeks, and then something triggers you to obsess about a symptom - I have been doing this with self-examining my breasts - I check and think everything feels fine, but then I doubt myself 10 minutes later and find myself checking again and again -

I have had numerous mammos, ultrasounds and physician breast exams, and they have always been fine. But then I find myself going back a short time later for more reassurance.

Thanks!

i do that kind of stuff all the time! Except mine is I have had blood tests upon blood test thinking they were going to find something horrible but I was fine. Also I have had my heart checked for abnomalaties(although I am only 28) and a cat scan. All because I thought I had cancer or something bad. But I was fine. It don't matter though I still obsess about my health and it causes me alot of anxiety. It's all I think about. I hope you get better cause I know how this kind of thing is.You're ok though. And welcome to psychcenteral
