i am trying to learn about stigma and families. I have not learned about stigma. I feel left out of the loop when family issues come up. not sure what stigma is compared to family bull crap. Does anyone know where i can find some good information on line i can research?

Here's some links that might be helpful:

Mental Health: Overcoming the Stigma

Try Googling for others. Also, search on YouTube for videos. On Google, try searching for the terms "mental health" AND "stigma within families" for a more specific search.

I don't know if you're Arab, but I found this article mentioning stigma within Arab families, and thought I'd post it, in case it's useful to anyone here:

Plus, a poster that might be of interest:
