Ok, so I had a migraine aura today (scintillating scotoma and a little loss of balance), and now I can't remember anything I've done recently, or planned to do! I'm seriously stressing right now, I had some extremely important plans for this summer, and I can't remember what is it exactly that I had planned! And I can't forget about them, they're extremely important!
What do you guys usually do to clear up brain fogs? I can't concentrate on anything at all because if I don't do the things I had planned, bad things will happen (socially) to me, and it makes me think about it more AND feel even more anxious...! I'm gonna take a bath right now and see if it helps. |

Be careful about taking a real hot bath.....the steam might cause the fog to get worse (just kidding).
I have had horrible migraines since about 1995.....to the point where they never went away.....but never ended up with anything like a brain fog.......what I would do however if this happens to you often is I would write everything down. When a plan comes up.....write it down. I have one of those day planner books I keep with me all the time. It is not only my future planner, but my past rememberer when I do things or when I talk with people or when I have to do something...I write it down....that way no matter what state my mind is ever in, I have the information. Know where I have been & where I am going. It also helps me with paying my bills....as each page is a new week, I stick my bills in the week they are to be paid.....It zips up also, so when I have anything to mail or anything, I can zip is shut so nothing falls out......It also has places for notes & other important information. I would be lot without it. Hope you find something that works for you, Debbie

sweetie i would get yourself to a doctor if you can. That not being able to remember things could be sign of something more serious. For instance, sometimes silent strokes will cause the same effect. Of course, 99.9 percent chance its just a migraine but anything to do with the brain i think you should be EXTREMELY careful with. Its such a sensitive organ and you only get 1!
