I'm being very silly here... probably from lack of sleep from working all night. I LOVE a nice long nap after work. In fact, I'll be taking one here shortly. Why do you like/dislike them?

Love em! Sleep is a hobby. If I don't get a nap on my therapy days, I get very grumpy. Poll... Like or dislike naps...

I don't nap...well, every once and a great while (3 or 4 times a year) I simply crash, but for the most part I avoid naps.

If I nap I don't sleep at night and that throws my entire sleep schedule off.

So no naps for me. Poll... Like or dislike naps...

I used to avoid them at all costs because I was afraid it was a sign I was getting sick, but now that I barely get any sleep ..an hour here an hour there.. I have to take a nap if I can get it.

Damn that was a good nap. Slept right through my alarm. Hopefully didn't wreck my sleep schedule for tonight... not that I've been on one for like 4 weeks now.

I'm not a napper. Feels like a waste of daylight hours to me, and I'm not even a farmer!

I don't nap well...if I fall asleep, I'm pretty much down for eight hours. So basically, I don't sleep in the day time unless I'm pretty sick.

I only nap when completely necessary. I wake up groggy, have a hard time going to sleep that night, and I feel like I've wasted daylight. But if I'm so tired that I can't function, I'll nap, but I always end up sleeping too long. Could use one now....but it's late so I'll hold out until I can to go bed. Interesting topic!

There are two cases where I like naps:
- if I'm snuggling with my husband Poll... Like or dislike naps...
- after I started on Lexapro, I could NOT get through an entire day without a nap. Now, three months later, I think I've finally adjusted to it and I haven't had a nap in two weeks.

Otherwise, I still don't like naps. Too much to do!

I like naps that are short. A short nap is usually refreshing. However, when I take a nap, I usually forget to set my alarm and end up sleeping for an hour or two and I feel like crap afterward.

Love the nap. Especially after riding my horse & working around the ranch. The body is just too tired to function. Besides the best escuse I have ever heard for sleep & it came from a Dr it that you both recoveres when it sleeps (it that case, I should be recovered by now LOL)

When I am stressed, my body & mind just goes to sleep to escape. Only problem was that it happened on the freeway on the way home from a T appointment. That wasn't healthy & my poor little eskie was with me. Was so out of it that I called the fire dept istead of the CHP which was probably a good thing considering I was on meds 6 months after having a neck fusion. That was one nap that wasn't a way to help my body recover, but came out ok & no one else got hurt.
