Sorry to hear about your home 50....

I just went through the same thing. I was lucky enough to get a short sale out of it (if you can even call that luck)...but that doesn't really help that much.

I don't know if this will help either, but I now have a smaller home...it's an apartment, but there is not as much to keep up with and it is in a nicer area of town. Not trying to minimize loosing a home, just trying to find some form of positive from all of this.

I wish you well. Hang in there...this isn't your always!!

It is extremely stressful and heartbreaking to have this happen. It really hurts and it is an adjustment. I hope you can be very kind and caring to yourself at this time.

I still miss my house very much. But I can appreciate my apartment too.
It is cozy and easier to keep up with.
When something breaks I pick up the phone and report it to maintenance and my bank account is untouched
Every week the grass is mowed.. by someone else
I can still plant around the patio
I can have a pet (actually I can have 3 but 1 is enough)
I can try living here... and there... anywhere

Any move is an adjustment.
Any adjustment is a process of the unfamiliar becoming familiar.
All things familiar...began as something unfamiliar.
Time does help, so give yourself lots of time to get through this.
Thanks for this!

I'm really sorry. That's awful news.
